IBM announces $3 billion research initiative to tackle chip challenges

Analytics at the Barcelona IFORS Conference

The 20th Conference of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies was held in Barcelona, Spain from July 13-18. Held once every three years, this conference brings together approximately 3,300 operations research (O.R.) academics and practitioners from all over the world. Analytics courses set for Baltimore/D.C. area in September

INFORMS has a continuing education program designed specifically for those in the field of operations research and analytics. Two courses from this program are coming to the Baltimore/Washington, D.C., area in September: “Introduction to Monte Carlo and Discrete-Event Simulation” and “Foundations of Modern Predictive Analytics.” These courses are intensive, two-day, in-person courses.
